in 1988 by Bev & Mike, the current owners,
The Star Inn attracts
a cross section of clientele from students to professionals, eighty
percent of whom are French. It has a friendly atmosphere,
attracting the locals who wish to sample the British ambience &
try out their English language skills. Visitors and other
foreign residents include people who have lived in many parts of
the world, enriching the cultural mix still further.
